A cunning plan regarding Spurs players.
Former Spurs star (well he made 34 appearances for him back in the day…) Jamie O’Hara is the ideas man.
The Talksport pundit proving just as talented in the media as he was as a player…
So O’Hara has came up with this brilliant plan for Spurs to sign Alexander Isak BUT only one (or more!) small potential problem…
Jamie O’Hara speaking on Talksport about Spurs and Alexander Isak:
“Newcastle might have to sell Isak and I know Spurs would love him,
“It is a step forward for Isak [to go to Spurs].
“I don’t think they would spend £100m.
“But Spurs have been linked and I’d love him [to sign for Spurs].
“I would do a swap deal.
“We give you £30m and Richarlison…
“I’d even throw in Djed Spence…
“Throw in Dane Scarlett as well, he’s young, up and coming….
“You’re going to lose Isak, gonna lose him, Emerson Royal [as well], back up for Trippier.”
The likes of O’Hara has such a high opinion of himself and Spurs.
Newcastle United do not have to sell Alexander Isak.
Whilst if for any reason Isak did leave Newcastle, he certainly wouldn’t be going to Spurs, it would be one of the very top clubs.
As for £100m for Alexander Isak, he is having a laugh. Midfielders such as Fernandez and Caicedo have each gone to Chelsea for well over £100m each and they don’t even score or create goals, Isak does the most difficult job of all and is surely worth far more than £100m in the transfer market today.
Newcastle paid Real Sociedad £63m for Alexander Isak and he has scored 25 goals in 44 PL appearances for NUFC and averaged a goal every 124 PL minutes. He is still only 24 and yet Jamie O’Hara reckons his value hasn’t gone up by more than £37m since arriving at Newcastle United as a 22 year old???
Obviously though, the former Spurs player coming up with this cunning plan where Newcastle United would take a load of Tottenham’s unwanted players in return for Isak, well, you just couldn’t make it up.
Richarlison will be on huge wages and has only scored 11 goals in 52 Premier League appearances for Spurs, I’m sure they’d be more than happy for NUFC to take him on and his wages.
Emerson Royal is a defender who can’t get a game for Tottenham, only nine PL starts this season.
Scarlett is a 20 year old striker who hasn’t scored a single goal in 15 Premier League and Championship appearances.
Whilst Djed Spence is 23 and still yet to start a Premier League match for Spurs.
We can all play the game whereby you think, why don’t we go and get that club’s best player and convince them to take all our unwanted ones in exchange. Some daft Newcastle United fans do this on social media. ALL clubs would love to do this type of thing.
